Date: June 14th
Location: Lobby then bar
Status: Public
Summary: An unexpected return
Loki strolled into the manor and up to the front desk with a wide smile on his face and his old backpack slung over his shoulder. It felt so familiar he almost wanted to go straight on to his old room, but he'd been gone too long. They'd probably given it to somebody else.
But it didn't really matter where he slept anyway. So he leaned against the desk and rang the bell to get a room."

She stopped short as she saw a stranger lean at the counter, alone.
A dazzling smile stole over her face.
"Hey there, handsome," she told the man. "You waiting for someone specific?"
no subject
"Well, I was hoping for Sister Mary to sign me in," he said. "But for a beautiful woman like you that can wait."

Kirby tossed back her sun-streaked blonde hair as she ambled over to where the man was standing. She held out her hand in greeting.
"I'm Kirby," she said. "Kirby Mitchell."

Odin would expect him to return to America as soon as he could, but Odin could wait, if England proved to be more fun right now. Loki could find him again whenever he wanted to.

Actually, for most of the time she'd been here that was a lie.
"But the place does have a pretty good bar." She grinned at him in a way that made the statement an invitiation, if he chose to take it as one.

"Ah yes, I remember the bar. Is my old friend Belial still running it?"

She cocked her head at him. "California, preferably, though I've been travelling a lot. I love beaches, you know."
just making sure Loki doesn't think the service lessened...
She stepped towards those two and smiled.
"Hello, sir? Did you ring the bell?"

She smiled at the new guest, then at the woman.
"Ms. Mitchell."
Wouldn't do to ignore guests. She then turned back to the man.
"Do you remember which room you had during your last stay or should I check in the books?"

"Is ... Scarlet still here?" He thought that might have been the name she'd used anyway. "Beautiful woman with long red hair?"
no subject
"Never seen nor heard of her," she said. "Does she keep to herself a lot? I'm more into men myself, but I think I'd've noticed..."

He smiled at the fond memories.

It seemed this hotel drew people roughly aligned with her line of work.

She gestured to Joe for a new drink.

He'd finished filling in the form and started to fold it into an aeroplane.

"Can you make that fly to Ms Heerkens' desk now?" she asked, pointing at the plane.
no subject
He glanced at his plane and then the door.
"Not from this angle, unless you could conjure up a convenient gust of wind." Too bad there wasn't a weather god handy.
