Date: May 30, evening
Location: Bar
Status: Public! Come and arrive, we're playing.
Summary: Truth or Dare?
Following up on an idea she had had a few days ago, Kirby had slipped small notes into people's rooms before she had goen down to the bar, inviting them to join her in the bar for drinks and a game to better get to know each other - considering they were living in the same place, after all.
Now she was sitting at the bar over a glass of beer, playing with the empty bottle. Jan sat across from her at the table. She had not informed him of the game she had planned, but simply invited him for a drink. He didn't seem the type that would purposefully seek entertaiment.

Now she was sitting at the bar over a glass of beer, playing with the empty bottle. Jan sat across from her at the table. She had not informed him of the game she had planned, but simply invited him for a drink. He didn't seem the type that would purposefully seek entertaiment.

He still preferred to keep an eye on the door, though and tensed whenever somebody entered.

Trying to appear unthreatening, he gave a gentle smile as he approached. "Hello."

He ran a finger along the last shelf and held it up, satisfied to see that there was no hint of dust, before replacing the equally dust-free books. There.
Standing back, he admired the spick-and-span library for a moment before making his final rounds to push in all the chairs and switch off the lights.
As he entered his room, he noticed some pieces of paper on the floor and sighed, picking them up and piecing them together as best as he could. He didn't bother chastising the cats; Ta-Miu would ignore him and Earl Grey would give him the sort of look that made him feel guilty for doing so.
Drinks and a game? It sounded like fun, after spending almost the entire day surrounded by books and puffs of dust. He refilled the cats' food and water dishes, changed their litter tray, washed up and changed into a clean T-shirt and jeans before heading down to the bar.
"I hope I'm not too late," he smiled as he entered.

She took in the red-haired man and wondered if she'd missed a room or if he'd simply not been there since she left the note. "We're going to have a night fo games, Coppercurls," she told him. "Why don't you join us? It's going to be fun!"
no subject
"It does sound fun," he said, and it did, but he had already made plans with Rose and he didn't want to back on his word. Maybe she would want to play too? And actually, if people were coming, it would be a perfect opportunity to share that cake he brought back from Venice!

Smiling slightly she opened the door and went in, stopping in surprise when she saw how many people were there. She hadn't expected to see other customers, she had gotten the impression that most of the time the bar was pretty empty.
"Hello Gabriel, Mr. Skovasja, ma'am, Mr. Dawson."
She nodded at each of them and then just hugged Raphael tightly.
"Hello Raphael. I'm glad you're back."
no subject
"Hello, Rose," he nodded to her before taking a seat next to Kirby.
"What sort of game will we be playing?"
no subject
"A night of games?" he asked the Sergeant surprised. It sounded very promising, though he hoped that she didn't mean gambling. A round of chess might be nice, but there were too many of them for that. Maybe Mensch-ärgere-dich-nicht would be a good choice, but he didn't think that was even known in England.

When he returned, he was carrying a large box, which he set on the counter. His tiny wings wriggled from beneath the collar of his shirt and flapped wildly.

She stood behind Raphael and started first petting and then softly grooming his tiny wings. How she had missed this. Pity she couldn't just change into Cloud here afterwards.
Turning her head to the woman she asked
"Something to know each other better? What kind of game would that be?"

He wanted to tell Rose he had meatballs... Large, carefully picked out balls of Italian sausage just waiting for her, but the less people knew about her eating habits the better. He remembered hiding how raw the steak really was at his dinner party and still hoping no one would ask her about it.

Thus attired, he went down to join whover was there already.
It was quite a crowd, although by far not as many yet as there had been at the dinner party. Two of the were angels, and he saw Skovasja and, of course, the hostess. Joe behind the bar, and the girl who cleaned and held the reception desk part of the time.
"I'll try that lime juice you mentioned, Joe," he told the bartender as a quickly waved at the others, then slid into a chair at Kirby's table. "How is everyone?"

He paused in the doorway for a moment, taking in the attendance and grinning at Raphael and Rose, before moving to the table at which Gabriel sat together with a few others; if all else failed, he could always entertain himself by annoying the Messenger.
"Good evening," He nodded to Gabriel, Jan and Jarod, before extending his hand to the blonde woman with a smile. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you before. My name is Belial."
no subject
He nodded curtly to Belial, hoping the demon would focus on the others, and waved to Joe.
"Good evening, Joe! Might I have a glass of red wine, please? Thank you."
He watched Rose and Raphael curiously. Other angels weren't nearly as protective of their wings as he was, of course, but still... He trusts her a lot, it seems.
no subject
She stroked and groomed the wings for a bit longer before she let her hands stray to Raphael's back between and around the wings, carefully, tentatively stroking the sensitive skin there. Rose was watching and feeling for her friend's reaction, prepared to go back to stroking his wings if he gave her a sign that backrubbing wasn't welcome.
no subject
He let her know it was okay by pressing into her fingers, hand still on the box. He nodded to each as they entered. "What game are we playing?" he asked.

He entered the bar, indicated his order to Joe with a quick gesture, nodded vaguely at everyone and stood aside to see what people were doing.

The man with the little wings made him nervous, though they were probably just some weird party trick meant to entertain them, so he inched away from him trying not to be too obvious about it.

They entered the bar, where the conversations among the people present, although not deliberately loud, already formed a very noticable basic noise level.
no subject
He arrived at the bar just a moment after two of the other guests entered. The place was fuller than he had ever seen it before. He tossed a cheery greeting in Joe's direction, then moved to take a place at Kirby's table.
"What are we playing?" he asked.
