Time: April 27, around two AM
Place: Rose's Room
Status: PRIVATE - Complete
Summary: Rose hears a noise in the night
Rose was woken from a not-so-sound sleep by some noise from downstairs. She'd dreamed about her pack, their farm, her family. Now she sat up slowly, listening for any more noises.
Who would be up at two in the morning? And why? The noise wasn't repeated but Rose's curiosity was piqued. And she told herself she really should make sure that there weren't any strangers in the house doing gods know what.
So she got up and dressed in a faded jeans and an old shirt, the things she'd wanted to wear for cleaning today. She forewent socks and shoes and left her room.
Outside she caught the first whiff of new scents. She couldn't identify all of them, but there was blood, mingled with something sharp she'd smelled at Dr Dixon's. It was the blood that concerned her. Adam had said, everyone was safe here. There should be no blood in this house.!
Rose crept down the stairs to the lobby, her senses alert, her body poised for flight or fight. In the lobby she found smears of blood and... feathers?? Blood and red feathers. She followed the trail.
