In Need of Distraction

Summary: Michael goes for a walk.

It was, Michael decided, a nice day. Certainly nice enough that staying indoors seemed just silly. He soon wandered out of the building, intent on exploring the grounds of the manor. After all, it was always wise to know your surroundings.

The sky was nice and clear as he glanced up to it, and he almost ached to fly right up, to spread his wings in the blue, which, yeah, not going to happen right now. It was much better to keep his gaze closer to the ground and focus on something else than the itch at his back.

Now, if only something interesting enough came up to actually distract him.

It was biting him. The beast was actually biting him, attacking him with all its might, and he couldn't make it go away. His panic was getting harder and harder to overcome, drowning any attempt at rational planning as he decided for more kicking and screaming for help.

How delightful! Loki had to let go of her toy's leg in order not to hurt it accidentally as it kicked, but she could not stop herself from wagging in delight as she ducked and dove to snap lightly at the flailing limbs without being hit herself.

Oh, it had to have been decades since she'd last had a toy that was this much fun!
