The sight of the tattoo confirmed Jan in his decision to stick around in case Miss Heerkens needed protection. Of course he knew that jail wasn't the only place one could get a tattoo - just look at Benjamin and his secret society of stalkers - but it was suspicious. At least this man had picked a wiser place for it.
