Rose stood in front of Atlan's door and knocked, probably more loudly than she would have done in a less urgent situation.

Atlan started out of his thoughts when someone knocked on his door loudly.

Slightly annoyed at the disturbance, he called out: "Come!"

Rose opened the door and stepped inside, just enough that Mr. von Arcon could see her clearly. She wanted to leave quickly again after all.

"Mr. von Arcon, I'm sorry to disturb you it's just... an injured man arrived in the lobby and Raphael said to get you or one of the angels or demons and Belial didn't answer the door and your room is the second-closest to the lobby..."

She realised she was rambling and took a deep breath.

"Please, would you come down to the lobby with me and see if you can help the man?"

"If he's injured, he should have a doctor," Atlan pointed out. "I am not a doctor." He got up anyway and moved towards the door.

Rose retreated from the room, prepared to accompany Mr. von Arcon to the lobby.

"I know, it's just, we don't know who he is and if we call an ambulance there'd be police here and considering the kind of guests we have a thorough investigation of the manor might be risky so we hoped we could just save him without calling in an ambulance, you know?"

"Like hired assassins and so on you mean?" Atlan said, remembering the talk from a few nights go. "Let's have a look."

One thing that tended to help in crisis sitations was appearing as if one knew exactly what one was doing and was condfident one had everything under control. So he would do just that for the moment.

Rose herself had been thinking more about angels and demons and so on. And a werewolf. But an assassin might be difficult to explain away as well.

"Follow me please..."

She was relieved that Mr. von Arcon was going to help and went quickly back to the lobby.
