Raphael plucked a spool of sheer ribbon from a box and set it aside. Then he pulled some leather sandals and some dye. He wasn't even phased by Rose's appearance as he ripped the straps from the sandals and opened the bottle of dye.
"Those are my own curtains," he assured her. "Ms Hodges original curtains are in the closet. I bought them while I was out shopping." He pulled a needle from his lips and began sewing the ribbon to the sandal. He motioned to the dress Rose had brought with her. "Would you mind if I took off the buttons from that? I promise not to do anything to it that can't be reversed."
