Jarod was quickly developing a headache. Apparently he was in fact renting a room in a kind of hospital for the insane, from one of the inmates. Oh wonderful!

"Can I speak to this Adam?" he asked. "And I fear that I have no powers to boast of, nor wings, and I can't claim any particular deity's title either. I'm just a normal guy."
