Status: Private (Aziraphale and Crowley) - complete
Setting: The basement
Summary: Aziraphale wants to look at the Satanic texts in the basement. Crowley wants to yell at Aziraphale for the Easter Party. This isn't going to end well.
Bloody Hell - pun intended, sad to say - but some of these were hard to read!
Of course there were plenty of human-written silly things, and Aziraphale quickly skimmed those and chuckled. But he had struck gold with a real grimoire detailing rituals for everything, from creating a new juggernaut of destruction and chaos, to baking an evil souffle. Of course it was written in Demonic, thus causing him eyestrain and making gloves necessary, but most importantly it was rather hard for him to decipher.
He knew bits and pieces of the language, as he had pressured Crowley into teaching him "just enough to bluff his way out of something if he had to." So while Aziraphale felt he was getting the jist of what this book was offering, he also felt as if there were things he was missing.
If only there was a demon around to translate more effectively...
