Loki rose from where he was hiding, exposing himself. He lifted his hands, one of which held the marker.
"We were only having a little fun," he explained as he stepped out of the bushes. Then he indicated the marker. "They were in the basement. And at least we can tell by the colour who shot a civilian here. It certainly wasn't me. Mine are the red ones."
He sent a wide smile in her direction, hoping to smooth over the situation.
