Gabriel winced as he heard the shot at Aziraphael, but took advantage of Loki's distracted attention to dart across the open scape and hide behind another clump, before continuing to crawl forward, towards the building. He looked up.
The roof would probably be a good vantage point, but from here he'd have to fly up, which would make him an obvious target for Loki and Baraq, wherever the demon was. Either he'd have to go around the back and fly up, or find other high ground.
He was almost level with Loki now, and he pressed himself closer to the ground.
