"I'm also the Angel of Birth and Mercy, and the second in command of the Heavenly Host - that's our army." There were more titles, but he decided that these were enough for now.

He noted Loki's checking of the paint gun, and his grip on his own gun shifted in response. Gabriel hadn't used a gun before, but as the other Loki had said, learning how to do so was probably a good idea. Besides, from what he could see, these guns used paint for ammunition, so they were probably either used for recreation or training, and wouldn't constitute flouting Adam's rules.
