Summary: The Sphinx is keeping watch



She had kept her eyes open, but despite her best efforts, the Sphinx had been unable to locate the red-headed hero Loki had told her about some days earlier. She wasn’t unduly concerned – the hero keeping away probably meant he was here for some business that had nothing whatsoever to do with her, as heroes were generally fairly confrontational and not all that subtle. Still, it was always best to be careful, and so the Sphinx had settled at a bar table facing the hallway, just in case she would catch sight of the elusive hero. While she was waiting, she passed the time by filling out a crosswords puzzle; she had finally managed to find an interesting one, and even if she would still come up empty-handed, as far as the hero was concerned, at least she wasn’t entirely wasting her time.
